Charlotte Hughes

Charlotte began working in Insurance at the London Processing Centre, now Xchanging, in 1998. Starting in the excess of loss team Charlotte progressed to assist with running one of the teams. She joined the Technical Services department, liaising with Brokers, Underwriters and Xchanging employees to deal with queries on the intricacies of Lloyd’s regulations.

Charlotte joined James Hampden International in 2006 where she supported Brokers on Open market business dealing with a wide range of classes such as Professional Indemnity, General Liability, Directors and Officers and single project PI. Her geographical expertise extends to areas such as Australia, Europe and the Middle East.  Whilst at James Hampden, Charlotte worked closely with Brokers to ensure documentation was fully compliant with Lloyd’s standards and met contract certainty requirements. She was also heavily involved with credit control functions.

Having left James Hampden in 2012 to start a family, Charlotte began working for Cantor Atkin in 2013. She works with clients and deals with day to day functions including IMR submissions and document production. She also assists clients by providing training to groups of staff to help with their understanding of Lloyd’s processes.
